Looking for text part to DB software

Hi,


I'm trying to find a tool, where I can select a part of text and
convert it in a DB field so that it is added to a specific row item.

Actually, in office, you can merge data into a text file. I want to do
this and the opposite: by selecting something in the text, send it
into the DB.

Any idea ?

Hi François,

I haven't seen a standalone tool that does what you are asking for.

Depending upon whether this is a one-time thing or something you would
do regularly, I would write a little text processing script/tool that
converts your text into an SQL query, then run this query from your
favourite SQL editor/tool.
